RWI Phonics lessons at home from Monday 23rd March
We’re scheduling free Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home; three short Speed Sound lessons with one of our trainers every day for the next two weeks. Films will only be available at the times below:
Set 1 Speed Sounds at 9.30 am and again at 12.30 pm
Set 2 Speed Sounds at 10.00 am and again at 1.00 pm
Set 3 Speed Sounds at 10.30 am and again at 1.30 pm
Note: films are streamed live and won’t be available at other times.
Remember to practice writing your numbers and counting forwards and backwards to 20.
Remember to share a story with an adult or your friend and practice your words in your book bag.
* I have heard that one super star is keeping her Mummy very busy and working quickly. Why don't you choose your favourite animal and write me some facts about it. Post it on tapestry so I can see how clever you are. Keep practising your handwriting and trying to keep those letters on the line.
* Unfortunately I am unable to send work home to children, but even without resources printed out your child can practise their handwriting and number formation all by themselves. They can write a character description or make up a story. I hope this helps.
* I would just like to say that it is really important that parents do not worry if they are doing the correct learning with their child, all I will say is that if your child is happy and having fun with you then you are doing an amazing job.
