Dear Children and Parents,

Recently we added a plan  of various activities for you to complete should you choose, along with various links to games and activities.  Many of you have shared with us that you are reading each day which is fantastic!  As we approach the Easter holidays this will not be updated as we want you to enjoy spending time with your families and hopefully some Easter sunshine.  However from April 20th you will find a new overview to help you with your learning.

Welcome to Gentleness Class

Class Teacher: Miss Pask

Teaching Assistant: Miss Denby

Welcome back to Term 4. We hope you had a break and are excited for our next adventure. This term we will be looking at Food, Glorious Food! We are going to be exploring how our senses allow us to explore food and then use them to create our own scrumptious fruit salad in Design and Technology.

Throughout the term we will be reading a variety of books in class. Our books will be linked to our theme: Food!

To kick start the term off we are looking at the brilliant story 'The Enormous Turnip'.

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please make sure your PE kit is in school for these days. Please may I remind you that this should consist of both trainers and plimsolls. Jewellery must be removed for PE lessons, if your child is not able to take out their earrings, please may this be done before school on the PE day. Also, as the weather is getting colder now, please can all children bring a coat to school every day. Any questions please ask a member of staff.

Reading books will be checked and changed throughout the week and house points will be given out to those who have read throughout the week. Homework and Spellings will be given out on a Friday. We ask for Homework to be returned to school by the following Wednesday and spellings will be tested on the following Friday.

'Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.'

Proverbs 19:20

Home Schooling

Hello Gentleness Class. I am missing you all very much!

I will post answers to questions here that have been sent to me and will try my best to help you with any other queries.

There is no expectation for you to complete any of the home learning activities - these are just suggestions. The important thing to do is stay safe and happy.

You do not need to register to access any of the activities. They are located under the 'Home Learning' star on our class page and then 'Week 1'.

Please do not worry about taking photos of your child's learning, just have fun together! I will be uploading new activities each week for your child to complete if they wish to. However, if you want to take photos of their work or anything that you have been up to, I would love to see it all when we are back at school.

Remember you can tweet me @miss_pask to share anything exciting that you have been up to!
